Vintage 2023

A mild and very dry first half of the year was followed by a rainy and cool May, so that the urgently needed water reserves could be replenished. Vine blossom was slightly delayed by the cool temperatures in spring. The wet and warm early summer increased the pressure from diseases, but we had them well under control. A hot August and a beautiful autumn brought the grapes to optimum ripeness. The result is an exciting and elegant vintage.
