Vintage 2019

2019 started dry and warm, followed by an unstable April and a rainy, very cool early summer. The development of the vines went slowly and led to a delayed flowering in June. It was mid-summerly warm, which favoured a rapid and strong vine growth. Harvest started in the first weeks of September - a little later than in recent years. The beautiful autumn allowed us to wait for the ideal harvest time. The long ripening period and the beautiful weather during the harvest created the perfect conditions for an excellent vintage.
